DNA Health Tested
All of our parent dogs are health and genetic tested through Embark, to help promote healthy quality puppies. Embark is a comprehensive DNA test that checks for genetic health conditions relative to our breed, trait insights, and 215+ genetic health risks.
OFA / AIS PENNHIP
All of our parent dogs are physically health tested and certified through the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals (OFA) or AIS PennHIP. This gives an estimate of the risk for painful osteoarthritis of canine hip dysplasia later in life. Radiographs (x-rays) are submitted to OFA for evaluation by a panel of radiologists, certifying the results. OFA prelims can be done at anytime.
AIS PennHIP testing is accurate as young as 16 weeks of age.
